These Cake Mix Peanut Butter Cookies are ultra-rich in flavor, soft, chewy, easy to make, and topped with a sweet sugar coating.



  • 1 Box of White Cake Mix
  • 1/4 Cup of Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 TBS of Water
  • 1 Cup of Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 Cup of Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 TSP of Vanilla Extract
  • Sugar (to roll the cookie dough balls in before baking)

Other Supplies Needed:

  • Fork
  • Parchment Paper or Nonstick Spray
  • Baking Sheet
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Electric Mixer
  • Small Dish for Rolling Dough in Sugar


  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, brown sugar, water, peanut butter, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract with an electric mixer at low speed
  3. Prepare a baking dish with parchment paper or nonstick spray
  4. Roll dough into 2″ balls – or in the size desired (adjust the baking time as necessary)
  5. Gently, roll the dough balls into granulated sugar, as pictured
  6. Place sugared peanut butter cookie dough balls a few inches apart on the cookie sheet (they don’t spread much during baking)
  7. Using a fork, gently stamp the cookies
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes – Don’t overbake!
  9. Let cool and enjoy:)
